Paulette McMillan, MS, RD, CDCE, L.Ac. has been counseling patients for over 25 years in the Maryland/Washington, DC area. She helps people with gastrointestinal issues, diabetes, fertility, PCOS and metabolic syndrome. She aims to help patients regain a healthy relationship with food through the intuitive eating approach. She received her master's degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States, Portland, Oregon. In addition to her practice, she served as a nutrition consultant on the advisory panel for the newsletter, Better Health...for Better Living. As a past faculty member, Paulette developed and taught the western nutrition curriculum at the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She worked for a NIH-funded research center at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ implementing research protocols to prevent high blood pressure and heart disease. She is also a licensed acupuncturist and board certified Chinese medicine herbalist. As a yoga teacher, she focuses on fertility and teaches "Yoga for Optimizing Fertility".
